The EDGE-CTRL I/166 industrial parameter recorder is a device dedicated to serving as a controller and measurement data logger.

The device allows for collecting data from devices within the astozi ecosystem:

• SMART-SENSOR / SMART-LAN,
• SMART-GATEWAY-LR / SMART-LR-GTW,
• SMART-MOTE-LR, SMART-MOTE-WIFI,
• EDGE-CTRL (creating a virtual recorder)

as well as external industrial systems using the Modbus/TCP protocol.

The device features a binary input module enabling the collection of binary signals. The module utilizes a built-in power supply for input state detection circuits. Additionally, the device is equipped with two output modules with mechanical relays for controlling external devices.

The device has internal memory allowing for data storage for up to 10 years. Processed measurement data can be analyzed by a built-in, configurable rules engine, and control signals can be sent to external devices, such as EDGE-CTRL controllers with built-in actuators.

The device has a housing designed for industrial applications.
